10:00 – 11:00 am: Basics/ Chair Yoga “Gentle Yoga”
Gentle classes are therapeutic and soothing to the soul. Practiced in a chair or on the floor, poses are deliberate and unhurried, and are not physically demanding. Especially supportive of students who are dealing with stress or injured, this class is appropriate for students of all levels, including those new to yoga.
5:15 – 6:15 pm: Teen/Adult Yoga “Vinyasa Flow”
This dynamic vinyasa practice is always evolving. Expect a creative sequence in which your teacher unpacks complex poses by building on the foundations of flow. This class may include arm balances and inversions but will always conclude with a full savasana and seated meditation.
9:30-10:30am: Yoga “Slow Flow”
Slow Flow Yoga is a smooth linking of unhurried breath with movement, intensified by mindfully holding postures for several breaths, awakening your body and clearing your mind. Explore the details of each posture at a comfortable pace to allow your body to deepen into a stretch or pause in a strength-building pose and find true balance in this moving meditation.

The School of Ballet takes great pride in offering this ancient Art of Health and Healing! Visit us and try a lesson! Yoga is available for the entire family!These classes provides an introduction to a variety of yoga poses individually tailored toward students of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. In depth instruction on basic poses and sequences, as well as an introduction to breath work and relaxation, included. Proper modifications will be provided to help you safely enjoy yoga and reap the benefits of regular yoga practice, which include stress reduction, flexibility, strength, and an overall feeling of well being.
Laura Taphorn has been practicing yoga since 1997 and is working towards her 300 hour yoga teacher training program with World Peace Yoga and her 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification with the Yoga Alliance. Join us in this wonderful opportunity!
